School of Distance Education (SDE) at Bharati Vidyapeeth

BVDU School of Distance Education (SDE), was established by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVDU). It is located in Pune and is approved by the Distance Education Council and Government of India. It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited with an “A” Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The School offers UG, PG and diploma programmes under the Faculty of Arts, Social Sciences & Commerce, Faculty of Management Studies and Faculty of Law. It has more than 100 assistant and associate professors. It comprises 10 learning and support centres that are located across New Delhi, Pune, Navi Mumbai, Kolhapur, Solapur, Karad and Sangli. These centres provide coaching to students through quality self-learning material, contact classes, e-learning through video conferencing among others. These centres offer subject-specific and general academic counselling to students by means of tutoring, special seminars, library facilities, assignments for evaluation and tutor comments.
